We don’t like writing Terms and Conditions… and we know you don’t like reading them either – but they are here for a reason and

that’s to protect both you (hereinafter called the client) and Kyrtsalidis – Margaritis O.E with VAT number 801712120 / Tax ofTice

D’ Thessaloniki and address Kaisareias 12 / 54454 (hereinafter called Chefs-mykonos)

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & FLEXIBILITY

Booking your preferred date

All bookings are subject to the availability of chefs.“Chefs-mykonos” will always try our best to give you your Tirst choice of date,

but cannot guarantee that it will always be possible. Please book as far in advance as possible to increase the chances of being

able to book your Tirst choice.

Booking your preferred date will only be secured once payment has been received and funds cleared.

Food Services 

By accepting this terms and conditions the “client” accepts to grant access to the kitchen of the property that he is either the

owner,  tenant or is subletting to third parties for the preparation of the pre mentioned agreed meals of this quote.

Cancelling your booking, changing the date or changing the location

Deposits are non refundable.

Once you have booked a date for “Chefs-mykonos” service, if you need to re-schedule or cancel, we will always do our best to help.

If you request a change of date or location at least 21 days before the date you originally booked, we will endeavour to meet your

new requirements, subject to the availability of the chef, but this is not guaranteed.

We regret that we cannot offer any refund if you cancel less than 14 days in advance of the booked appointment. In some

instances, we may be able to change the date (as long as the date, time, menu and number of people remain the same), subject to

the availability of the chef, but this is not guaranteed. You may wish to consider taking out suitable insurance to cover

cancellations beyond your control.

Very rarely there may be a delay in the arrival of your chef, or we may need to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our

control, such as adverse weather conditions, sudden illness, unavailability or breakdown of transport or equipment. We will do

our best to notify you as soon as possible and arrange a different chef, however, in the event that we must cancel, we will offer an

alternative date. Should this not be possible, you will receive a full refund. We regret that, in these circumstances, we are unable

to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expense that you or your guests may incur in relation to the cancelled booking.

In the rare case of the client being late more than 2 hours or a non show our chefs will leave any prepared food in the kitchen

properly stored and will leave the premisses without serving.

Changing the number of people attending your dinner party

On booking, we will ask how many people will be attending the dinner party.

If you would like to reduce the number of guests attending your event, please notify us at least 3 days in advance. We regret that

we are unable to offer any refund.

If you would like to increase the number of guests attending your event, as long as you notify us more than 3 days in advance of

your appointment, we will arrange for enough ingredients to cover this. There will be an additional charge per person which will

be discussed with you and which must be paid in full at our arrival for the service in cash or cc.

PLACING YOUR ORDER

Please choose your order carefully and ensure you have read, asked any relevant questions regarding taste, texture or ingredients

and understood the description of the dishes carefully. While “Chefs-mykonos” makes every effort to describe all dishes accurately

not every single ingredient can be listed. You can request full description of proposed ingredients in each dish prior to ordering,

please do so by email. By conTirming your order you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the description and

concluding information concerning the dishes and accept responsibility for choosing the goods ordered.

By conTirming your order you acknowledge and accept that your food is made speciTically for you from fresh ingredients and

other ingredients and therefore cannot be reproduced to exact Tlavour, colour, texture, taste or quantity and thus variations of

these factors will occur in home cooked food. Food cannot be returned, swapped for alternative dishes or costs refunded.

“Chefs-mykonos” cannot be responsible if any ingredients are unavailable due to circumstances beyond “Chefs-mykonos”

reasonable control. If an ingredient is unavailable “Chefs-mykonos” will offer an appropriate substitution. If you do not wish for

substitutes “Chefs-mykonos” will provide you with an alternative option that suits both your needs and “Chefs-mykonos” costs of

ingredients.

“Chefs-mykonos” are not nutritionists, dieticians or medical doctors of any kind. They do not provide medical or nutrition advice.

By entering into this agreement with “Chefs-mykonos”, you acknowledge and accept that “Chefs-mykonos” have advised you of

these facts and if you have any medical, nutritional or dietary questions regarding “Chefs-mykonos” food you are to seek advice

from qualiTied medical doctors and nutritionists.

Before a “Chefs-mykonos” chef prepares food for you a client consultation will be carried out to assess food preference, dietary

requirements, allergies and kitchen equipment available. It is you, the clients responsibility to provide accurate, complete and

updated information as required to provide food to your, your family’s, or guests tastes and requirements. “Chefs-mykonos” does

not accept any responsibility or makes any warranties for clients not disclosing any valid information.

EXCLUSIONS

Drinks are not included in any “Chefs-mykonos” services unless speciTied by “Chefs-mykonos”. We are able to source drinks for you

from trusted vendors. Please contact us to discuss this prior to booking.

PAYMENT

Deposit : 30% at the time of booking

Balance: 21 days prior to the event

This is usually done via direct bank transfer / secure payment link all details required for this are shown at the bottom of your

invoice.

Tips/gratuities are not included in the cost of “Chefs-mykonos” services and are left to your discretion; if you would like to show

your appreciation of your Chef and their work please feel free to do so to them directly.

LIABILITY

For your safety, please inform us in advance of the booking if you have any dietary requirements, are pregnant, have diabetes,

epilepsy or an allergy to something, or if you think there is something else that the chef should be aware of.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE CHEF

Before the chef’s arrival your kitchen should be clean and tidy with clear work surface to a reasonable degree. On arrival, you

must show the chef how your kitchen equipment works, including turning on any electrical appliances. You should show the chef

what equipment may be used for the dinner party, including pots, pans, electrical equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware (if

necessary), removing it from high cupboards. Any faulty equipment should be removed from the kitchen prior to the dinner party.

We will not tolerate any violent, threatening behaviour, physical aggression or verbal abuse to any of our staff or representatives.

If this happens our team will vacate the property immediately and the booking will not continue. No refund will be issued and

legal proceedings will be issued against you.

THE GREAT MYKONOS WEATHER

If you choose an outdoor location for your dinner party, appropriate cooking facilities must be available. Please ensure that you

have a suitable indoor venue available in the case of poor weather. We regret we are unable to reschedule events due to adverse

weather.

KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

You must have at least a minimum level of equipment in your kitchen. We will check what equipment you have on booking and

discuss any potential issues.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

What Personal Data We Collect And Why We Collect It

Visit

When visitors visit  the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you visit on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

negligence.

By means of your order and/or registration to our mailing list, you are agreeing with these General Business Terms and

Conditions. “Chefs-mykonos” reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.

“Chefs-mykonos” in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, with or without cause or reason. “Chefs-

mykonos” reserves the right to add, delete or change fees or charges at any time upon notice as provided in this Contract.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and any disputes will be

decided only by the Greek courts of Thessaloniki.
